eh.. huh? archives

2001-02-27 14:06: theGIA accepted my fic.. Yay! I'm not feeling quite as down as one week ago..

What really annoys me is that I have virtually no time left to play FFIX, since I've got far too much to do in school. *sighs*

Anyway, I celebrated my 22nd birthday yesterday. I got the Otherkand series by Tad Williams, and bought a detachement of Space Orks. As if I don't have enough Orks and Gobbos to paint already..
[Post comment] 2001-02-23 20:56: I'm trying to make my sister start mudding now. *grins evilly* I hope she'll turn out a chef as well, they're the best guild anyway. Hm. I guess my boyfriend wouldn't agree.
[Post comment] 19:02: ...so how about this?
[Post comment] 18:08: Hm.. I've just done a major design-change on my school homepage, and I think I'll make this one a little more like that one. Style sheets are funny.
[Post comment] 2001-02-22 19:34: RPGamer thought my fic sucked. Ah well. I'll have to live with that, don't I? Will have to do better next time, I guess. Err.. Don't think I'm taking this lightly, 'cause I'm not - but I can't do anything about it. I'll just play some more FFIX and hope I'll feel better after that.
[Post comment] 2001-02-21 13:44: Dont' have time to write. Gotta go home and play Final Fantasy IX.
[Post comment] 2001-02-16 13:20: When I came home from school yesterday, Final Fantasy IX had arrived. Nice.. Though I've just played for about 3 hours, I love the game already.

Crosswinds is up again. I don't know what to do about them anymore, I can't trust them. I've been thinking of what to do with my sisters site. Maybe I'll just change the frameset to direct vistitors to the angelfire-mirror. Using that method, I won't have to do double updates all the time. Don't know if Crosswinds policy allows something like that, though. Ah well, if not, they'll just have to delete the account. We won't miss it.

I've sent my fic 'Activities' to RPGamer, Icybrian and theGIA. Hopefully someone will put it up.. I don't know what to think of fanfiction.net anymore. Although I appreciate that its archives are open for everybody, I'd like to think that people still write their fics for others, not just for themselves. Judging by some of the fics on ff.net now, I don't think that's the case. I'm just so fed up with selfinserts, Mary Sue's and people behaving far too OOC.. Ah well. I don't HAVE to read it, I know.

[Post comment] 2001-02-09 13:39: I just remembered that I still have an old homepage left att passagen.se. It is embarrasingly ugly, but at least I have 20 MB of space there if I ever tire of Tripod. They have no popups at least, but if I put my homepage there I'll have a frame on the top sporting their banners and ads. Hmpf. I liked crosswinds when it worked and was popup-free. So sue me.

I promised my class-mate Samuel that I would mention him somewhere on my homepage. Alright then, there you go, Samuel. Happy now? *grin*

Hm, this keyboard is disgusting. I don't know what it is people has spilt all over it, but it's brown and gooey.. Ehm. Coffee? Cola? Don't know, but I don't like having to put my fingers in it.

[Post comment] 2001-02-06 20:19: Once again updating my sisters homepage. Once again crosswinds FTP isn't working. *sighs* Anyway, I've started working on a Jenova-fic. I know the storyline, but I haven't written much down yet. Ah well. I'm a little impressed that I have the time to be creative though school totally wears me out.

Hmm, Sketch of Love isn't loading today. Wonder why.

I preordered Final Fantasy IX yesterday. It'll be released in Sweden february 16th, and hopefully will arrive in my mailbox the same day. I ordered Vagrant Story as well, in the hope that it'd get here today. Obviously not. *sighs*

[Post comment] 2001-02-05 09:57: I survived the weekend with Linda. We never made it to the cinema, since we - as expected - spent too much time at the computer fixing her homepage. Ah well, nothing wrong with that. Anyway, when we thought we'd upload it, bort crosswinds and angelfires ftp's were down. Of course we could still upload the files using their webshells, but it's somuch easier using Dreamweaver's builtin FTP facility.. *sighs* Even that wouldn't have been a problem, though, if Netscape could have stayed alive. But of course not. What'd you expect? *sigh*

Anyway her page is mostly done and uploadad. A few links are still acting weird, and will be corrected soon. Look at it and tell me what you think. Oh, and please use a CSS (style sheet) enabled browser, or it will all look like shit. I know.

I really hate winter. -25 degrees (and that's Celcius, if you didn't know), and it feels like my toes are falling off from the cold. We didn't even walk to school as we regularly do... Ah well. A cup of hot chocolate at the boring lecture, and maybe I'll feel alive again in a few hours. Then, when I finally get some heat back into the body, it's time to go home again. Probably will take the bus home, too.

I feel totally inspired to write a Jenova POV fic. Weird?
